Strategic Dialogue with Dubai Chamber Boosts Kenya–UAE Investment Pipeline

KenInvest hosted Mr. Khalid Al Ali, the Africa Regional Director at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, in a strategic engagement aimed at enhancing bilateral investment relations. The Dubai Chamber, representing over 450,000 members and operating 36 international offices—seven of which are based in Africa—plays a crucial role in driving outbound foreign direct investment (FDI) from Dubai.

Kenya and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) continue to enjoy strong economic relations, further reinforced by the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). This partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering deeper investment collaboration.

During the meeting, KenInvest underscored the importance of investor targeting and relationship-building in attracting high-impact investments. Working closely with the Dubai Chamber, KenInvest is actively promoting Kenya as a premier investment destination for UAE-based investors.

The ongoing collaboration is focused on developing a strong pipeline of investment opportunities that align with Kenya’s development priorities while also providing attractive prospects for UAE investors.

This engagement marks a significant step forward in Kenya’s efforts to strengthen international investment partnerships and promote sustainable economic growth.
