Ndarugu 2 dam water supply project
Ndarugu 2 dam is a proposed water supply infrastructure project currently in the project development and feasibility study phase under the Athi Water Works Development Agency. The project involves constructing a 52-meter-high roller-compacted concrete (RCC) gravity dam with a crest length of 300 meters and a storage capacity of 18 million cubic meters. Additional components include a 50,000 m³/day water treatment plant and 37 kilometers of raw and treated water pipelines to serve residents in Kiambu and Nairobi counties.
