UK–Kenya Business Forum 2026 Strengthens a High-Impact Investment Partnership
Kenya and the United Kingdom convened in Nairobi for the UK–Kenya Business Forum 2026, reaffirming a long-standing partnership that continues to deliver tangible economic results and unlock new opportunities for sustainable growth.
The UK–Kenya economic relationship remains one of Kenya’s most significant, underpinned by strong trade flows, sustained investment, and deep private-sector engagement.
At a glance, the partnership delivers:
- £2.1B+ in bilateral trade
- £2.2B in UK foreign direct investment stock in Kenya, making the UK Kenya’s largest FDI source
- 150+ British companies operating across diverse sectors in Kenya
- £648M mobilised through Manufacturing Africa, supporting over 30,000 jobs
- £400M committed under the UK–Kenya Strategic Partnership (2020–2025)
Held under the theme Building UK–Kenya Trade and Investment Partnerships for Sustainable Growth, the Forum builds on momentum from the Kenya Investment Forum in London, where H.E. the President reaffirmed Kenya’s openness to investment and commitment to long-term partnerships.
Invest Kenya, represented by its Chief Executive Officer, highlighted Kenya’s ongoing reform agenda, a growing pipeline of bankable investment opportunities, and the country’s strategic position as a gateway to Africa and global markets.
Kenya remains open, reform-driven, and investment-ready, focused on translating partnerships into measurable performance.
Invest Kenya looks forward to advancing this momentum with UK investors at the Kenya International Investment Conference (KIICO) in March 2026.
